Our membership is open to anyone 18 years of age or older. A family membership includes applicant, a spouse or significant other and their children under 18 years of age.
We encourage learning more about prospecting for gold in an environmentally friendly manner. Members can prospect on several claims that our club either owns or leases. During outings, we also have equipment that is available to members for their use.
We also teach others at schools, fairs, malls, and special events.
We were originally formed as a GPAA Chapter in 1981. In 1986, the Club broke from GPAA and became a separate organization. We went on to become an incorporated nonprofit corporation in 1990. Today our members reside in 18 different states.
Our meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:30 P.M. at the Masonic Wadsworth Lodge # 25, 2425 Pyramid Hwy, Spark’s Nevada
